學院2005年獲凝聚态物理碩士學位授予權,2007年開始招收培養碩士研究生,2010年在湖南省研究生培養過程質量評估中獲得優秀,2010獲得物理學一級碩士學位授予權,自2012年起,培養理論物理、凝聚态物理、光學和無線電物理碩士研究生,物理學為省級重點專業和77779193永利重點學科。
The college received a master's degree of condensed matter physics in 2005, began to recruit and train postgraduate students since 2007, obtained excellent evaluation in 2010 during the postgraduate training process of Hunan province, get the first level discipline master of physics in 2010, and train theoretical physics, condensed matter physics, optics and radio physics graduate students since 2012, furthermore, physics is the key specialty of Hunan province and key discipline of Jishou university.

培養目标:本專業培養掌握物理學基礎知識和基本原理,接受物理學研究方法和科學思維的訓練,具有科學精神、科學素養、科學作風和創新意識,從事物理學及相關前沿學科教學和研究的專業人才,同時培養能将物理學應用于技術和社會各個領域的複合型人才。
Academic Objectives: The students in this major will master the basic knowledge and basic principle of physics, receive the research methods of physics and scientific thinking train, own the scientific spirit, scientific literacy, scientific style and innovation thoughts, and become the professional talents engaged in teaching and research in physics and related interdisciplinary subjects after they have completed all the required credits. At the same time, the major trains compound talents utilizing physics in various fields of technology and society.
主要課程:高等數學、普通物理學、計算機文化基礎、C語言、模拟電路、數字電路、數學物理方法、理論力學、電動力學、量子力學、熱力學與統計物理、普通物理學實驗、近代物理實驗、中學物理教學技能訓練等。

培養目标:本專業培養具有電子信息科學與技術基本理論和基本知識,接受良好的科學思維和科學實驗訓練,掌握電子系統設計原理與方法,具備較強的知識更新與創新設計能力,能在電子信息科學與技術相關領域從事科學研究、教學、科技開發、産品設計和生産管理工作的高級應用型專門人才。
Academic Objectives: The students in this major will learn the basic theory and basic knowledge of the electronic information science and technology, receive good train of scientific thinking and scientific experiment, master the design principle and method of the electric systems, have strong ability of knowledge renewal and innovation design, and become the senior specialized talents engaged in scientific research, teaching, technology development, product design and management in the related fields of electronic information science and technology after they have completed all the required credits.
主要課程:電路理論系列課程、計算機技術系列課程、單片機原理、信号與系統、傳感器技術、電子電路CAD、電磁場與電磁波、半導體器件原理、集成電路設計、電子測量與儀器等。

培養目标:本專業培養具備材料科學與工程專業基礎、自然科學基礎和人文社會科學基礎,具有較強實踐能力、自我獲取知識能力、社會交往能力、組織管理能力,能在材料相關領域科研院所或企業從事材料科學與工程基礎理論研究,新材料、新工藝和新技術開發,企業和生産技術管理等工作的高級應用型人才。
Academic Objectives: The students in this major will receive the basic train of materials science and engineering, natural science, humanities and social science, have strong ability of practices, gain knowledge, social communication, organization and management, and become the senior applied talents engaged in the basic theory research of the materials science and engineering, development of the new material, new process and new technology, and production technology management in materials related scientific research institutes or enterprises after they have completed all the required credits.
主要課程:物理化學、材料科學基礎、材料工藝基礎、材料物理性能、材料力學、性能材料、現代分析技術等。
080202 機械設計制造及其自動化    學制:四年/授予工學學士學位

培養目标:本專業培養具備機械設計、機械制造、機械電子及自動化等方面的基礎理論、基本知識和應用能力,受到現代機械工程師的基本訓練,能在機械制造領域科研院所和高新技術公司從事設計制造、科技開發、應用研究、運行管理等方面工作的高級工程技術人才。
Academic Objectives: The students in this major should own the basic theory, basic knowledge and application ability of the mechanical design, mechanical manufacturing, mechanical electronics and automation, gain the basic training in modern mechanical engineers, and become the senior engineering and technical talents engaged in the design and manufacture, technology development, application research, and operation management in the research institute of mechanical engineering and high-tech companies after they have completed all the required credits.
主要課程:工程力學、機械設計基礎、電工與電子技術、微型計算機原理及應用、機械工程材料、制造技術基礎等。
